Daikin VRV Working Principal

The Daikin VRV System was first Invented in 1990’s, they had copywrited the name therefore they have VRV and everyone else uses the name VRF system.

The VRV System works on a very simple principal as same as the Normal Air Conditioners, except that they have a Computer on-bord that can control the Flow of the Refrigerant Flowing to the various Indoor Units through the Outdoor Unit, this system can control the Volume of Refrigerant that is required by any specific Indoor Unit to maintain the Temperature set on that specific area.

In cooling mode if the thermostat is on the expansion valve opens and a run signal is sent to the outdoor unit to start. As the refrigerant flows through the coil, it picks up heat cooling the room. The expansion valve is controlled to maintain the temperature out of the coil at approximately 5 degrees higher temperature than the temperature in.

When the on command is sent to the outdoor unit it starts the Inverter driven compressor (think modulating pump). The hot gas leaves the compressor and flows through the outdoor unit heat exchanger to dump its heat. The now cool refrigerant leaves the outdoor unit via the pipework to the indoor units.

VRV is a technology that changes the refrigerant volume in a system to precisely fit the needs of a building. The VRV system just needs to use a minimal amount of energy to maintain preset temperatures and make sure that it turns off on its own when no one is present in a room. Long-term sustainability is increased by this novel mechanism as end users reduce their carbon emissions while saving money on electricity.

The VRV system functions similarly to a multi-Split system with up to 64 interior units connected to 1 outdoor unit. Based on the current inside temperature and the requested temperature from the remote control, each indoor unit calculates the capacity it requires (set point).

The outdoor unit will regulate the temperature and refrigerant volume in accordance with the combined demand from all interior units. The inverter compressor keeps using less energy during VRV operation by only providing the necessary cooling or heating.

advanced Features of Daikin VRV

Shîrudo Technology

Shîrudo Technology integrates refrigerant control measures from the factory, meaning the VRV 5 system is equipped with sensors, shut off valves, and an alarm, which are third party CB certificated by a notified body (SGS CEBEC).

Integrated Sensor System

These Sensors are integrated at every Indoor Unit, Self-monitoring system can detect smallest leak, and in case of leak automatically trigger the alarm and cut off the supply valve for the Leaking Indoor.

The System will automatically cut the supply of the Indoor from the BSSV Box, the valves of the affected region are closed and the leak is contained.

 Variable Temperature Refrigerant

Daikin VRV System is able to satisfy the building load at all times with the highest levels of seasonal efficiency thanks to variable refrigerant temperature, which continually changes both the inverter compressor speed and refrigerant temperature in cooling and heating. This Option in Daikin VRV increases the seasonal efficiency by 28%

Variable Refrigerant Temperature (VRT) considerably reduces energy expenditures while also enhancing comfort by automatically adjusting your system to fit the needs of each building and climate. The system’s capacity is managed by the inverter compressor and by adjusting the refrigerant’s evaporating (Te) and condensing (Tc) temperatures in order to achieve the highest levels of seasonal efficiency.
